Traktor Pro 2 falling out of sync?

I just installed Traktor Pro 2 and I find that it doesn't do as good a job as Traktor Pro 1 when it comes to keeping two tracks in sync. For example I'll be playing Track A, then start playing Track B. If my timing is off, etc I will hit "sync" and the tracks don't sync up fully (the sync button doesn't fully light up). I have to hit "sync" twice in order for the button to fully light up. Then if say another 32 beats go by it starts to drift and the "sync" button goes from fully light to just the word sync being light up.

What's up with that? Why can't it "hold" the sync and it drifts?

There are now two different sync modes. make sure you've installed the update and check your preferences to see which mode you're using. You may want to change to the other sync mode.

Yeah. Have you tried switching between them to see if it makes a difference?

Heh, I didn't even realize this. I noticed that something was off when I was letting it sync, I wonder if this is why. (Never seemed to want to start "on time", usually was a beat or .5 beat off, even though the tempo was right.)

Doesn't really bother me to beatmatch it manually (either by just matching the tempos or by ear the old fashioned way) though so I didn't really bother fooling with it.
