Random clubbing mishaps

Ok, so the time I broke my knee by falling off a podium got me thinking Given some of the bizarre locations that we like to rave it up, including forests, caves, deserts, old fortresses, as well the kind of rat-arsed states that we tend to slip into, what are some of the weird clubbing injuries/accidents that you've experienced, or heard about?

Surprisingly, after more than a decade, I can't think of one injury or incident...

I slipped and buggered my knee at my buddies place while pre-drinking prior to heading out. After consuming a reasonably large quantity of intoxicants I figured I was okay so I went out for the night. Turns out that was a bad decision as it exacerbated the injury sufficiently that surgical intervention was required. It was a fun night though.

Edit: granted this is more a walking injury then a clubbing injury but it's the closest I have to a clubbing mishap.

i rolled an ATV while in ibiza and hurt my wrist. I opted out of getting it looked after while there. By the time I got home a month later it didn't hurt near as much, so I ignore it. 10 months later I went to the doctor and found out I had broken my scaphoid in half...which led to 11 months in a cast and bone graft surgery.

oh, and I had an asthma attack in guv and I had forgot my asthma puffer in the car, so they took me to the paramedics while carns ran out to get it. that room is scary

Falling face first at a desert rave and getting sand in my eyes. Good times lol. Not too bad of an accident compared to some of your mishaps. 11 months in a cast. ^^

I saw someone die at Amnesia in Ibiza

people were dancing on the podium, and they were pushed/shoved off (who knows as it was way too packed)

the guy was just laying on the ground twitching for 20 minutes , blood everywhere!

security cleared people out of the way, by the time the paramedics arrived, he had turn grey

one of the girls i was with saw them carting him out, and she threw up at the site of his lack of color/life ...

after that i have never danced on a podium again,
all it takes is one wrong move, or one idiot...

^^^^^^^^ damnz man. That's crazy.

For me it wasn't so much at parties but after a party I ended up getting food poisoning in Barcelona after eating some dodgey street meat outside the venue for Sonar. (my 2nd time). I was almost out of commission for a few days. Thankfully the food I had in France was a lot lighter and I could handle it.

Wow this thread is a huge buzzkill. By the time the weekend hits we'll all be too scared to step outside lol...

Never been injured myself but one time saw my friend get bottled a few feet away. Smashed beer bottle on the head, blood everywhere and she had to get several stitches above her eye it was pretty brutal.
