Mid Tempo Mixes
So I still go out a fair big and hear all the loud-ass party bangers, but I have very little interest in listening to that kinda music at home anymore. Lately I've been getting into the slower nu-disco, indie rock, reggae, old skool hip-hop, funky breaks, jazz and funk, basically anything that is still upbeat but is not banging club music.
So what I'm looking for is any mixes that play an eclectic mix of more mid-tempo styles of music for home listening. Something that still has a beat, and a groove, lyrics or no lyrics, doesn't matter. I have a mixer on the way and when I start DJing, my initial plan is to create slower and eclectic, but not ambient "at home playlists" but creatively mixed together. Has anyone done these types of sets, with any of the genres mentioned above, or know where I can find them? I feel this is a real void in DJing/music in general, as it seems if its not proper intro/outro club music people just don't mix it together.
I know there must be stuff out there so please, enlighten me!
