oohh yeah

santa cruz is a nice soundcard!

...had mine for a couple of months now...very happy - especially 'cos i picked it up 1/2 price seeing the stupid shop didn't know how much they're worth

err...if u're saving up for a 5400rpm drive...save up a bit more & go for the 7200rpm ones...u'll notice the difference!!!

my windows used to take 4-5 min to boot up on 5400rpm drive (tho i'm sure it had near-zero cache)...but on 7200rpm drive, it boots up under a minute (like 58 seconds i think)

...dun worry...200g fills up quick!!!...always thinking..."eh...'nother 80g drive...should take a while to fill"...couple of months down the track..."shit, time to look at buying a bigger hd "

have fun!!!

oh no the deskstar GXP are known to be problematic as hell. Go look on the web (search google) for all the rants about these hard drives. They have a habit of dying on you for no good reason and not after 4 years either
