Loving the percussion around :30. Great atmospheric sweeping synths too. The low end is a little muddy. I think it is over compressed as said above. Another thing you can try is separately equalizing each instrument, spiking up a thin EQ line and finding the problem area in the lower frequencies, then take the gain all the way down in that area. Main synth line just kicked in at about 1:53. That lead could be replaced, it's a bit overdone, but it sounds good when you're using rhythmically. Loving right after 3:05. Sounding awesome, really love it. Just hit the beginning of the buildup. You should have a little more buildup before you introduce the main melody. It comes kinda sudden. The rhythmic synth coming back in is kinda tiring at this point, find something unique to do with it here. Perhaps another hook in this area, a whole new synth? Change it up a bit, add a little more. Make it interesting. As far as the mix goes, try to fix it up a little better. Some stuff is much too piercing, and some stuff could stand out a little more.
Overall, I think the track has great atmosphere and drive. There are some interesting bits, but overall, it sounds like it's missing a lead. Try to come up with a hook to really suck the listener in. If this is only your second trance track, then you should be proud, it's good in a lot of ways.
If you have time, care to give my track a listen, and give some C&C as well?
