I've revived an old project of mine from last year, I loaded it up last week and damn I like it. I want to do it solid but I'm kind of can't decide where to go from here so I need some input
What's missing, needed, do you like it let me know
the love is being ingested right now, in the form of Blue Moon.
This might sound decent with a better mixdown and some better EQ. Right now, everything is clashing. What kind of monitors/speakers/headphones are you using? In this track, sometimes it's hard to tell whether the kick is playing or it's just the sidechain pumping. To be honest, it sounds like there is a track buried underneath all this. Also, whatever you have on the master is certainly not helping.

yeah yeah i like your analysis, you see, this project was last touched a year ago and never again, I want to collect all these different ideas before digging into it again.
The track is wide, it gives a feeling that it's in the background rather in your face maybe this is what you'r experiencing, this needs fixing and i think it will be the hardest thing to fix

Kile, reset your mixer.
work on drums /percussion first
once happy add the bassline
once hearing a nice mariage move on to pads/leads
FX / ear candy and done
Everything is in there, it just needs a good shake-up -reset

I wanted to listen yesterday but I have problems with those 2 platforms. Any chance you could put this on the cloud?
