Smiley DJ Deep/Progressive/Tribal mix from a rookie

Hey Tranceaddicts,

I've been mixing on TTs for about a month now, and put down a short 10 song mix (about 45 mins) last night. I'd be happy to hear all opinions/criticizms/flames

Here's a tracklist:

Moshic & Landa : Faza (Moshic Remix)
Gardner & Thomas : Propaganda
Decepticons : Eastern Promise (Original Mix)
Ice Cream Social : Woven Air
Darko : Code of the Toad
Mavi : Precious
Redanka : Out of the Dark
Indigo : Division
Urban Dwellers : Loverman (Satoshi Tomiie Remix)
Inertia Blue : Loss of Control (Traveller & Quest Dub)

Here's the mix (take your pick):

128KBps (42MB)
64KBps (21MB)

Thanks in advance for all listens/replies

Hmm, you said you liked my mix, so i am checking yours out. I don't know a SINGLE song on that playlist, so it should be interesting.

downloading the 64kbps version now, your server is so slow though, only 7% done! I'm spoiled i'm on a T1.

i'll let you know what i think once i give it a listen.

Cool

Thanks for listening.

Sorry about the server speed...I'm on a DSL, my provider must be slacking again (not the first time).

I've been listening to my mix...the first 2 mixes make me cringe...terrible mixing

Ah, dude, the intro is wicked, the first track is dope, and the second is one of my favorite songs! I just didn't know the name of it. it's on a max graham mix i have, and i have always loved this one, i want it!

it does come in a TAD loud, just barely.

the first mix is FINE man, i didn't hear no problems, even listening for it. only thing that sucks is the bass is not well defined at 64kbps. what happened to the link to the 192Kbps file? or, am i on crack?

haven't gotten to the second mix yet, i'll let you know when i do.

man! your mix is awesome! i've been bouncing in my chair, i love it! i would give you feedback on each transition, but they are so smooth i can't even tell!

man, this compares to max grahams!

you are very good, you could easily play a club. i want a better quality version so i can make a CD, getting the 128 now.

OK there was one where i could tell, at about 29:30 through the mix, the dropout of the first track is pretty obvious. or maybe that's in the track? cuz i hear another mix only 2 minutes later, and that one is awesome.

it's tough with tracks you don't know, but all in all, if you can keep me guessing, then it's a damn good job.

Yeah man, lay off the crack

Naaah, you're right, I had a 192KBps mix out there, but I took it offline. If you'd like it, its right here

Thanks a million for the reviews, I'm gonna go to the 29 minute mark and check the mix. You couldn't be more right about that 1 mm of the pitch slider...that thing is kicking my ass.

I think I'll try to record a full CD length this weekend, I got a few more vinyls coming in the mail (hopefully tomorrow).

Thanks again, keep up the great work! You da man!
