I really like this, summer bubbly vibe.
I hear some wierd phasing in the mix though and quite heavy on the 10K range. I would recommend walking though the channel EQ's again to clear things up and remove whatever exciters/finalizers/mastering compressors that u used on the master as they kill the track. The track just screams to be opened up. it's a bit smeared and muffled now

Track itself is REALLY good, serious potential just clean the mix.

Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment man! This is a very rough mix (obviously :P), just wanted to get the idea down and see what some friends (and you guys) thought of it.

I'm still working on the bass section and will tone down the high end a bit(I believe a plugin on the master bus is to blame for this). I will have some time to work on it later today and will post an update!

Great mood, just needs some opening up and a proper mix down. The vibe is great though and the instruments work well.

The only thing readily bugging me is the piano sounds a bit lifeless. Maybe its just cause it feels so faint.

This could do well on solarSwarm once its ironed out. Let me know if you consider sending out demos.

Thanks for the comments and glad you enjoyed it! The piano is just the stock Ableton piano. I'm in the process of finding a better suited sound. Digging through kontakt libraries as we speak.

The melody that comes in during the break is the hook. The piano is lacking in the upper mid range, so do whatever you have to do to bring out that melody so its easy to hear.

Going to have listen on my proper setup when home (on POS headphones right now) but this is a really great tarck and exactly the sort of stuff I love, especially when mixed up with slightly more driving tracks.

sounds like a nice track i listened to this 2 days ago, the mix doesnt sound that sharp. i would send this to Aeron Aether's ARRIVAL record label after you've tweaked it

Wow, thanks man! I've been lurking on these forums for many years, so these positive comments from you guys mean a lot and are very encouraging!

I've been working on the mix. Sounds much bigger and much more clear now. Just trying to not upload 1000 different versions of this one until it's nearing finished. Bad habit of mine. :P
