Its prolly one of the best scenes you'll ever see. Just roll up a joint and enjoy the view. I heard from my friends that the scene was incredible. I missed the oppurtunity and took the lame 5 freeway. Smeely cow manure and all. One drawback though. It's a longer ride by the coast. You stop by and see a lot of towns. Worth going at least once in your life. Enjoy the ride buddy.

the coast is very beautiful... but very windey.. =)... I would take the free way and make set stops, such as cannon beach :P (in oregon) the farther south you go from there, the better the beaches

id take the coast. aint nothing like driving to some trance with the sun setting over the ocean right outside your window.. send me an email if u come to LA and ill show u around town =)

If you drive down the coast, just check and make sure a good DJ is coming to a town by the coast. That way you can go clubbing, cuz there's nothing to see at nite.
