Live bass always sounds huge. As others have mentioned.
A lot of dance theses days gets most of it's bottom end energy from the bass drum. They have long subby tails, a lot of actual basslines are not as heavy as you think.
Detune two saw tooth waves, mess about with the filter cut off (either a high pass or a low pass depending on your taste) get it to fit with a 909 or 808 style bassdrum.
Alternatively, try layering some saws with a sine wave an octave or two below the saws, mess about with the levels of each oscillator.
The Track you posted "Tomorrow" Is deffo a sine bassline with either a square or saw layered gently over the top, then it has that running arp thing over that too.
A lot of it is the kick though.
