Ok, I makin the move from digital to vinyl...

Or more specificaly Traktor to 2 Numark TT1520s with a Numark DM1001X mixer. I'm getting them dirt cheap, but are they an ok equipment choice for a n00b. Also advice for a pure beginer, such as good beginer vinyl, books, videos, webpages, and techniques to practice would be much appreciated.
