Virtual synths that can do wobble bass?

I don't have Reason so I don't have Thor. What other virtual synths can produce that wobble bass effect?

Any synth with a modulation matrix will work. All you need to do is be able to route LFO's and you're well on your way.

My favourite synth is Albino3, and purely for how awesome the mod matrix is. Also gotta love the oscillators and being able to layer the way it does.

That said though, you dont even really need all that as long as you can set up some kind of lfo. Automations and envelopes work just as well, just gotta find the method that works best in context.

Like other said, any synth almost can work, just find the best method for that particular synth. Personally, if i wanna wobble i'll go with Albino3 as well... hell I use Albino3 for pretty much anything, my fav softsynth by far. Seems like most people are using massive for their wobble needs however. Just go on youtube and type in "wobble bass tutorial" or something of that effect and you can find tons of tutorials... youtube is your friend!

NI Massive and Razor are both very good for wobble bass but as mentioned any synth can do it

Wow. Many thanks! There's so many great synths that aren't sold on Zzounds, Sweetwater or anywhere. I'm ordering Albino as we speak. If anyone has any other trance synths to recommend then hollar...

This is a great tutorial if you're trying to get a wobble with albino3, you can do so much more with this synth as well, really a huge fan of it. It's amazing for atmospheric pad sounds as well, good luck!

Read the manual for Albino. It offers a lot of insight. Most people dont realise the proper way to use the oscillators and how 2/4 affect 1/2.

Then go youtube some tutorials on its inner workings. Especially the mod matrix. Its an awesome toy.

Yep, an LFO that you can use to modulate the Filter's CutOff Frequency and you're set!
