This is an extremely loaded question that nobody here can answer for you. People are going to try, I'm sure, but you'd be better off trying to figure it out yourself. There's no cookie-cutter method to creating "drama" in the context of an original song. It's like someone showing half of an abstract painting and asking what to put in the other half. It's your song, dude.

Just do whatever sounds good. If you can't come up with anything, then stop trying. Or try harder. Or take a break. It's a creative process that you need to do yourself in the way that it works for you, there's plenty of materials that you can easily find online with a bit of searching that can steer you in the right direction.

I just got a copy of 4x4 drummer from NTS audio. It's not expensive (like $20) and for me, it is a little idea machine. Just assign some random FX samples of Any kind, weirder the better, to the Perc channels ( or any other really) and click the 'Create' button. It randomly generates beats and combined with random FX samples, it will come up with some wild patterns that have spiked a TON of ideas for me in the few days I have had it.

It isn't the prg or patterns themselves that's the thing, it's where it will take your creative thought process.

didn't listen to the track. but when you say "beat" do you mean a secondary rhythm pattern, or do you mean what most people consider a "beat" as in the overall production or some sort of musical/melodic element?

if we're talking rhythm section and you don't have the know-how to sequence one yourself, just use a loop from a drum sample pack. plenty of interesting fills that'll fatten out your rhythm section and your overall groove.

The loop tip is great, but I figured that an even better way is to "remake" loops with other samples
