Kogyo Flight EP(Spacealorbeat SO 1)

Spacealorbeat owned and managed by Greek DJ/Producer John Ov3rblast makes its debut outing representing what can only be described as experimental electronic music with Kogyo’s Flight EP.A 3 track ep reflecting some excellent dub techno soundscapes designed to take you into Orbeat!!

Kicking of ‘Generic Flight’ gives the listener a sense of what can be expected from this strong EP,putting you in a dreamstate reality immediately immersing you into the depths making you lose all sense of consciousness, which isn’t a bad thing while listening to music of this kind.Deep synth lines create spaced out vibes which are bolstered by tech house rhythms to give a stylish and sophisticated track suitable for all occasions either on the dance floor or through the headphones either way ‘Generic Flight’ hits the spot.

Second track’Periapsis’ goes in a totally different direction while delivering quality, which has to stand this new label in good stead for the future as its already demonstrating the ability to capture the imagination and were only on the first release!!!!Periapsis is what a lot of people would imagine dub techno to be,a very laid back affair full of atmosphere, beautifully layered sounds eb and flow to leave the listener bewildered and wondering where they are to be taken next, reverbing around all over the place this track takes you in many directions during the nine minute rollercoaster of emotions again serving up another terrific track.Kogyo demonstrates true musicianship on this track reinforcing Ov3rblasts decision to feature him as debutant for Spacealorbeats.

Sixt Planet completes the playlist for the ‘Flight’ EP,again dub flows through this track like water from a fountain but with a much more tribal edge to it,a much more upbeat feel to this track without going over the top.Heavy synth lines again are a big part of the ‘Sixt Planet’ creating the sort of depth a deep sea diver would be used to!!!!!

This EP is has most definitely put Spacealorbeats on the map and kicked the label of in fine style,so if you like your music a little bit different or even experimental then this is a label to keep an eagle eye out for as the Flight EP is just the first taste of many good releases to come.

The ‘Flight’EP is available now in mp3 or WAV format exclusively from Junodownload.
