Entirely untrue. There are lots of great ideas out there. The studios would just rather put their money into a project that has an established fanbase and therefore return on investment.
Sounds obvious to some, but apparently others don't see it.
Also, this trailer looks like shit. I hope the movie itself is better, but I doubt it will be.
