thanks! I used Native Instruments massive, found a tone that I liked, and then changed the voicing from polyphon to monophone so I could bend the notes. then I just automated the cutoff to wobble at different speeds like in a normal dubstep song, with a pretty big sidechain to keep it bouncing with the kick.
