Hello! Up To Light (Original Mix) - Mr. Le

Something new that i've been working on for quite some time. I couldn't find good FX to fit along with this, so any suggestions would be very helpful! Thanks!

i like the track. the melody is beautiful and the sounds are well chosen. the glide or portamento in the one synth isn't quite something I'd do in my tracks but it sounds decent here!

the "vocal strings" in the background add such an amazing effect to the tune. but after a while the kickdrum gets a bit boring, although it's not in the foreground, it should have a bit more energy in my opinion.

but to conclude, a beautiful tune

Thank you for your feedback! If you could, what options do I have to give more energy to the kick? Filters?

Good song,

I wasn't really too into the whole glide effect in some parts of the song, but overall I really liked the chorus in the background. Not bad keep going.

I actually like the kick you used. It sounds a little lowpassed and that might be taking some of the energy away, but the song is mellow enough where I think it works.

The sound choices were great but the portamento just.. doesn't sound good. I love porta when it's done right but if it glides into non-chord tones and stays there for too long, it's distracting. Maybe shorten the glide time? I think it'd help a lot.

Good job overall

Thank you for the feedback! I will do some more editing on the portamento! And also the kick does have some lowpass. I'll do some editing to the kick to add more punch.
