This sounds good, but i think if you lowered the mid-frequencies on the kick-drums , it would sound better

Thanks for your reply! Indeed kicks are where I suck the most ass. They always seem so boxy and flat, and I can't figure out how to make them translate to other systems; they sound excellent on my headphones.

Lovely melodies actually, the basis of a fantastic atmospheric dnb track, but the bassline is just terrible. Drum 'n bass like this is all about the sub bass - you really want a deep bassline. The one you've got right now is puny. Some more interesting drum programming would be nice too.
I do agree on the bassline. I'll work on it when I get some free time on my hands and update this thread. I've been thinking of adding a speech-sample of some kind and generally achieving a slightly dirtier sound.
I'm actually attending my first d'n'b-only-clubnight this weekend hoping to catch some good vibes for more inspiration.

the melody is really awesome but as "dr.america" already mentioned, the perc. &kickdrum has a bit too much of the mid freq. ut to be honest, i think the bassline is nice and it fits. yea of course, there are other alternatives which might fit better but i think that this one does well too! the snare is perfectly chosen, i like it
