ive been doing my drums all in EXS24 lately...used to do it all in audio and was such a waste of time...ill still use audio to move claps a little forward sometimes if needed.

never really got into it, im more into just finding a good sample to start with and then processing it in the channel strip...just my way of working.

Fastest for me is just drag and drop samples in arrangement and then copy paste . Ultrabeat is cool, but i cant use it fast.

I prefer to load all my drums into samplers, process them separately, then arrange them via the piano roll.

Mind you, that's how I've always worked - probably force of habit.
