I did, but then I went back to 2.81. I found it too slow.

hmm 2.81 was to slow on my comp. im back on 2.79. lol 2.9 will probs be to much for it as well

are there any improvemetns from 2.8? the only big improveemt was that you can view videos through winamp now (just like in winamp3)

And I see no bugs or anything in 2.8 as it is, so i'm going to stay with this.

i like it. its not slow on my system. i cant feel the difference between 2.81 and 2.9 but both are much better htan 3

2.9, hmm...that's one step closer to 3 and that can't be a good thing

I tried 2.9 but immediately reverted back to 2.8. A brief overview of whats new:

- Contains a media library now
- Plays videos now
- Puts all your skins in the visualization tab for some reason, leaving the skin tab empty
- Your existing skins dont skin the library window or video window so when you use those options it will look ugly

I say theres no reason to upgrade, so stick with your 2.8's, boys.

Im on v2.80 and its the best piece of software i have ever used next to windows 2000. So im not gonna upgrade

Winamp 2.9 is the best Winamp ever imo. It's easy to use and the difference to Winamp 2 ist, that it also supports vdieo files. Winamp 3 sucks, it never worked on my Pc.
