What should I expect?

I picked up some new duds to wear so that won't be an issue. Although I am wondering what kind of shoes are acceptable, obviously sneakers are out.

I'm also getting there as early as possible to avoid any complications.
This is my first time going and I'm excited to see Cosmic Gate, so I'm trying to avoid as many complications as I can control.

its really not that bad. esp tomorrow night cuz its only cosmic gate. it used to be pretty bad but all they care about these days is getting people in to make more money. ive seen plenty people with sneakers there although i personally wear all black diesel sneakers when i go there.

expect the dancefloor to be small and the drinks to be expensive. other than that its no different than anywhere else.

Thanks Pat. I was wondering is there anything special I need to do for a ticket ordered online? Different line or anything along that?

when you're facing mansion the will call line is to your right. just bring your credit card and id like always and thats it. i always bring a printout but have only ever needed it once and that wasnt even at mansion.

smaller shows at mansion like this though just walk up the front, ask one of the doormen where the willcall line is and they may just let you right in. thats what happened at joris/nic anyway and umek last year because no one ever buys presales for these "smaller" shows.

when you get inside. just walk to the left. to the right is some gay hiphop room that ive only ever been in once when harry lemon or somebody was playing there wmc04. just keep walking left, you'll find a ramp, go down it and you'll hit a bar, stop at the bar, get a drink, then walk around the bar, but stay to your left, with the main vip area to your right, keep walking and eventually you'll be in front of the booth in the main dancefloor (if thats what you can call it) section of mansion. then just enjoy the night.
