I've listened a couple of times, somehow not grabbing me like some of your others. There is however a nice synth sound starting around 1.37, could be useful.

Thanks for being honest, Richard! I feel like it has a much better groove than a lot of my stuff though, I find myself going in this tech-house / progressive tech direction.

Sort of evolved into this. Working with vocals is fun!

I always like your tunes evolve. So I listened to the 1st edit you posted onward and tbh I have to say I like the very 1st one the best. Its simple but groovey and the synths to me are kinda dark and exciting. I didnt really like the added vocals. just my 2 cents

(edit) I just listned to the 2nd edit you posted and I take back what I said. I like that one best. vocal chops sound great and I like the mood and feeling it gives me.

Hey this latest edit is damned nice, much better. I'd buy this. Love the vocal treatment and groove. Love the spartan mix.

One thing - the level of the piano and synths is a little loud. To me this is all about tgroove and bass and as such I think you want to push those synths back some.

A little more power in the kick too - maybe another kick layer with a sort of whack / whoopmf enveloped quality to it. Would just lift it a little.

Thanks for the tip. Turns out the buss its on is cranked pretty high. Will probably fuck with the kick a little more, couldn't hurt. working on it more now. 2 AM track quite possibly?

More work, super close to finished if not already.

I definitely liked the original concept. In the latest version at 1:47 it went downhill for me.
