How do they get this sound?

How do you all think they get this staticy, electrical sound effect on the synth? This is Infected Mushroom. Starting at 0:49 - 1:28

pretty much the dub step wobble with less bass and more noise content used in a different context.

the synth everyone uses is NI massive. Honestly, just youtube skrillex or noisia.

My guess would be (and I don't have a synth in front of me to work it all out)

Two waveforms, one sine or square pitched down, the other using noise or possibly a fast saw pitched higher at a fast speed. Lfos synched and the rates adjusted, and filters modulated by lfos. Maybe some sort of compression/decimator/bit-rate reduction for added crunch. Possibly?

Sounds like two sounds going on,

A wobble which is discussed earlier as the low part

And what sounds like a saw / white noise osc and the automation is done using the massive step performer to control the rises and falls on a low pass filter for the higher part.

Or you might find a wave form in the osc which would get you closer in massive.

this guy seems to have given you the answer. this is the standard dub wobble with more whitenoise content.

record yourself farting into a vintage folgers coffee can (not the new ones, they're usually plastic). make sure to record the farts with a coles ribbon mic being powered by an AEA ribbon pre. then, load those recordings into a sampler synth and play. add bitcrushing and lofi to taste.

No way, you totally need an old Maxwell House tin for this sound.
