Our venue in Toronto is closing down and this was the final party at the venue. I was the very first DJ to play in this club, and I was also the very last. 3 years, not a bad run
I was originally going to play an all vinyl set but once I got on the decks the turntables just didn't work. Luckily I brought about 4-5 cd's with me just incase there was a problem, and good thing I did or the night would have been cut short. I had no idea what was on the cd's I brought, I just new they had classics on them. Thank god for the digital display on the CDJ's or this could have been a total nightmare. The first track, Adagio for Strings, was the only vinyl I could use, and you will notice how the sound is only coming out of 1 channel, that's when we had to quickly re-set-up the cdj's in just enough time to not let the record run out.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this classics set I closed with. It was very frustrating while I was playing, not being able to play the tracks I had in mind, and you'll even notice I played the same song twice LOL at least they were different mixes However it all worked out in the end!
Tracklist:
1.Tiesto - Adagio for Strings

The thread title is misleading because i assumed your mix was a Rank1 classic mix ..

Some nice tunes.
My only request is your edit the mix so the first tune isn't left only cause it is annoying!
Congrats on being able to hold it together though and throw in 4-strings so well given the fact the booth was prob a state witht he switch over of gear!

I don't believe in editing livesets tbh. Ya it's annoying, but it's bearable.
Ya I was totally frazzled with the chaos that occured, and the last thing any dj wants is for the very first mix to be a complete disaster lol.
