Anyone manage to grab the Early Bird priced tickets? The email notification I got went to my Spam folder so I never saw it.

Just for shits and giggles I went to price the tickets out... currently $229 + $55 service fee + taxes. It was like $580 for two tickets.

Guess I'll never be going to an UltraFest after all! I'll stick with EZ which seems like a better festival and is half that cost.

I did UMF last year (as well as 6 other days of Miami partying).

I basically went to UMF solely for ASOT 500, otherwise I would have never gone.

My honest opinion? Don't go to Ultra. It was fun, sure, but the best part about Miami Music Week is most certainly the OTHER parties going on at the same time. Anjunabeats was a blast, REALLY cool fucking location for that show. I also just hit up some normal clubs, and the beach parties were sick too.

It is absolutely 1000% worth it to hit up Miami during that week, I'm gonna do it again this year. But Ultra? Nay.

it's pretty stupid to compare umf and edc to ez. they have been around since 1999 meanwhile ez just finished their 3rd year.

This will be the first year I won't be going to Ultra since 2001 - If I were to compare last year's Ultra to this year's EZOO, EZOO for sure no question. The production was a lot better at EZOO this year then Ultra last year - The "park" where they hold Ultra has had some major construction going on for a while now, and last year (I could be wrong about this) the amount of space available at Ultra seemed less/smaller then this year's EZ. Everything was really cramped close, construction junk everywhere, rocks all over the place, puddles (I didn't think it even rained that week) Only thing Ultra had last year was that cool for Carl Cox and ASOT, but if you were standing even a little bit outside of it you could hear the Mainstage. Also the smell of the small area where the port-o-potties were traveled very far throughout the "festival"

Very dissapoint

Yeah, the ASOT stage was basass.

The rest of the festival was just plain underwhelming, though. And what the hell was the bright idea behind having the Main Stage at the entrance to the festival? Put it the furthest away so all of the less musically-educated people get a chance to experience other stages before they find their way to Tiesto and Skrillex.

Yeah they just really didn't have too much space to work with - The Main stage used to be pretty much at the way opposite side of the entrance with the bridge behind it pretty much, now (and last year) they're building stuff over there ;/
