Danish no, Dutch yes. Id rather hear Swedish/Norwegian with a sock in their mouth than I would German with vomit.

Definately not as nice sounding as Solresol, that's for sure. I'm however a bit more interested in languages like Lojban though.

I am currently residing in Denmark and can say from first person view that it is very tough even if you have some background in Danish. The spoken language is completely different from the written one. You barely understand anything. But I wouldn't say it is the ugliest since I heard worse, but its not a beauty for sure.

As a Norwegian, I understand both swedish and norwegian very well, but I very often have alot of trouble understanding what danes are saying, and more than once have I had to communicate in English with them.

As a non-native english speaker, I often find it hard to express myself as concrete and precise as I want to, even though I find it easier than in my vernacular- norwegian is a . Lojban seems to be what I need to learn to be able to share the complex ideas that bounce around in my head, without having to stop every four words to deliberate on syntax and grammar.
Maybe I'll finally get some peace and quiet in there :P
