This sounds pretty swell to be a first project, even the mastering is decent. The melodic parts starting around the 4 minute mark were my favorites, keep playing around with music, you've got some skills. As for constructive criticism, all I would have done is smooth out the wave effect on the synth a little bit. Nice work bro

Thanks for the feedback much appreciated! And yeah now that you say that again the synth does hit a little rough, plus the compression makes it a little rougher. I'm releasing another song on Sunday I'll make sure to post it up.
