There are so many different possibilities, depending on what kind of drum 'n bass you like, and what kind of trance. Liquid is just one style of drum 'n bass, just like progressive is just one style of trance. I would call all of these drum 'n bass tracks "trancey" in different ways:

Some good shouts from System, I gotta tell you though what you have made isn't drum and bass.

If you like breaks with trance elements there are hundreds of brilliant track to use as inspiration.

go look up "Trancestep" and "Electrostep".

As for producers, go look up Concord Dawn.

here is a track i mostly wrote.

i feel with liquid dnb, its a lot to do with atmosphere than it is trance sounds, a lot of times those cliche gated saws / trance transplants dont sound that good to me infused with drum and bass straightly speaking.

hmmm ok so whats the diff between dnb and breaks then in terms of drums? is there any or is it all about composition and other sounds such as bass and leads or atmospheres

thanks for the links, there were some pretty good songs on there.

London Elektricity is a real good dnb artist i like for anyone interested.

also Camo & Krooked are sick but i guess they are breaks more than dnb...

in this song im working on i have that real deep kind of clear sounding bass( as in song i linked) and it keeps drowning out the hallow square sounding synth i have playing. is this just a compression/volume prob or what?

thx

+1. Good liquid dnb in my opinion has mostly to do w/ creating great atmospheres, like the track MSZ did. I love to here liquid dnb w/ big atmospheres and effective stabs spread out through the track in a way that plays with the pads.
