In the same concept of Green Velvet - The Bathroom

You can't believe they released it because you don't like it or because it's kind of "party" sounding which contrasts with the militant, bleak, cold, and futuristic aesthetic UR normally releases?

I personally am not a fan of this song, but I wouldn't turn my radio off if I heard it there.

Please, if there's any one Techno label that refuses to be pigeonholed into a particular sound, it's UR. Bileebob is a longstanding Detroit talent, and I totally respect them for going out on a limb with what is indeed a bustout party track.

A friend dropped in at Submerge while in the D for this year's Movement and got some one-on-one time with Mike Banks. Told me they started discussing this particular cut and Malcolm mentioned how much he loved the bassline - Mike's response was, "I know! A lot of people just don't get that!"

Totally forgot to ask him to pick up a copy for me, as well as John Collins' "Yeah/All We Need" - but I've played his copies out, and both are surefire floorfillers.

Underground Resistance describe themselves on their website as "The baddest group of sonic electronic warriors in the world".

I guess both

I just didn't expect this from UR, especially the amateurish sounding of it, sounds as if it was made in 10 minutes, and this kind of attitude never inspired me

UR always stood for their unique quality, I'm talking about tracks like Jaguar and Transition

Just because something is simple, doesn't mean it's amateurish.

Amateurish tracks generally don't rock dancefloors, seen?

This is more about a label you enjoy deviating from your expectations. Guess what? UR doesn't care, they're too busy selling records.

no, I don't think it sounds amateurish because it sounds simple
It sounds amateurish because it sounds as if it was made without caring

ok ok, maybe it works on certain dancefloors, had no chance to check that

their other stuff is very good IMO, and I wish them all the best on the market, but just don't see the point of releasing such a pornography of a track as Bileebob's amongst other really great releases

alright, I guess they just wanted to have fun, I can accept that

You seem to be struggling with the notion, somewhat.

Either way, the message in the song is excellent, subtle musical sarcasm, delivered with a wink and a smile. And that takes some smarts. Personally, I want to take every cellphone I see on the dancefloor, put them all in a big pile and run them over with a steamroller.
