Im going to Coachella for my first time, figured I may as well try it out once. Its on my 30th bday this year, so I already grabbed a few tickets for me and a few friends and a couple camp spots.

Anybody know when they typically release the lineup? Ive heard a few rumors on the website's forum...

Radiohead
No Doubt
Coldplay

it'll be some time til the official lineup still. earliest could be like late february i guess?

Which weekend are you going? I haven't bought tix yet. Some friends and I are gonna figure out which weekend over xmas and then grab the tix. Some friends of mine will be going for the first time Will be my 5th!


As for the rumors - I think there's some truth to many of em, but I don't put any stock in Radiohead or Daft Punk rumors, as they surface every.single.year..

the daft punk rumors are really old at this point

If that flyer didnt have Daft Punk on it I would actually believe it could be true

^well, honestly - fliers like that are based on "insider information" and popular rumors. The way I see it is this: a lot of the smaller names that get circulated as rumors do so for a reason, whereas most of the big names (radiohead, daft punk) don't mean much of anything without any real confirmation from the act themselves.

I noticed from sorting through the forums that alot of predictions are a result of tracking down tour schedules that may increase the possiblity, in addition to tweets from artists etc.

The rumor flyer spelled Armin Van Buuren wrong.
