NYE Reviews??

So... just curious what everyone was up to last night.

I personally kept it chill and hung out with some friends. Was hoping to hit up Digweed for afterhours but I was too much of a mess

What did everyone else get in to?

Went to white wonderland. Showed up at 9 and got in fast, no lines, and quick pat downs. 98% of crowd dressed in white with a few ppl who didn't. Before I arrived I had seen on twitter that kaskade couldn't make it due to weather problems.

Showed up while Dada Life was spinning and they were playing bangers from 9-10. From 10-12 it was Benny Benassi and he was spinning some good house and then proggy after that. Really good set. PVD came on at midnight and did the whole countdown thing and dropped Ferry Corsten - Digital Punk.... ehh whatever his set was not good IMO.

Left around 1 cus my friend was tired and we left to after parties.

Marquee baby!

Did 10 hours of Kaskade! Couldn't make the last 2 hours, just tore up..

Awesome experience, great party. He dropped 4AM at 4AM and from there on we got the real Kaskade.

Sickness - at one point full on tribal jungle, felt very raw.

Never seen him before, and glad we made this choice. He would always come back with like 3 tracks going into a crazy build-up and then some of the signature Kaskade "heavenly" sound.

The first 3 hours, he played what everybody is playing and it was exactly what I expected. It was nice when all the people left that weren't there for the music. Then everything changed.

I got to give it up to Marquee and the Cosmo, as this is by far the best experience in hospitality anywhere on the planet.

My gig was awesome, we were sold out. I played at midnight and got to do the countdown. The energy was at another level. So freakin excited cuz I've never seen the club like that. Everyone cheering so loud. It was perfect. Got lots props. I dropped some Erick Morillo, Ferry Corsten, Solid Groove, Kings of Tomorrow and more. Fun night.

Digweed. As usual, 4am-7am was absolutely mind-blowing. I'm exhausted.

A) The fog sucked...
B) Played a freaking 8 hour set, since my friend cancelled last minute due to injury. Owner of our venue dropped me an extra $100 to play till 4am....several peeps stayed, pretty funny. Had a better crowd than expected! Nicky Romero tracks seemed to dominate the night - along with the new stuff from Hardwell....good times.

My night at Together As One. Sorry about not holding the camera still, I was piss poor drunk lol

Insomniac LLC isn't monopolizing shit, TAO had a GREAT turn out WAYYY beyond expected. VIP bars were not over crowded maybe 5-6 people in line at one time max, entry lines were not to bad because they were moving efficintly and the venue and the party as a whole was AWESOME.

You largely can't compare to the two with one being 18+ and the other being 21+. If someone says a lot of people were over 21+ at TAO, it can easily be said that they have friends who weren't 21 yet or just that White Wonderland was sold out. Or that people are just burned out on SHM. Especially in LA between SHM and them playing individually. Most people I know (who know the music more ) went to Day 2 versus Day 1.

If Insomniac went all out and did an 18+ event, it could have and with the right lineup it would have thumped TAO.
