Got my Tempest
And it sucks!! (For trance that is )
This machine is very cool, but way more Detroit / Minimal / 80ties type sounds than trance electro club type sounds, loads of bloops and bleeps but no jomox or TR909 type ploks, huge library of samples which ofcourse can be tweaked in realtime and very catchy swing settings.
here are the 16 preset demo pattern in high quality
I'd have no real use for that aside from the kicks, and for that I'd rather use a kick lancet

no idea why people would want this for kicks. YOu want a synth for sounds that change over time. for kicks, use samples. For percussion you want to craft and have evolve, use a synth. IF you don't want sounds to chance, use samples. use a synth for sounds you do want to change.
And honestly, the kick lancet, why ? It has been sampled. Save yourself the money. I mean it sounds awful anyways. Like a fart machine but 10 times more than what you would expect a quality fart machine to cost.

No worries, will post some own patterns and tweaks later

Well I got it for Xmas and you can hear it in a tune I just made but I haven't put it up anywhere as I realised the worst part about the tune is....... the damned kick.
I'll try again with lancet but so far not quite what I'd hoped for

just updated to OS 1.3
the "Mininal Techno" project probably has the closest patches of for what i'm looking for. way too many fashionable techno stabs and wobbles in there to.
I need to create my own bank soon, as these example projects are shite.

updated to os 1.1.5 today, machine becomes quite workable now
starting to get used to it sounds, but i guess most of us have been "spoiled" with processed sample packs, fit for the genre.
I guess i go try make some dusty minimal bleepy tracks. pounding techno beats is not really an option with this unit
