Question for "BPM Studio"

Ok for this program, can i alter the BPM of the song to the desired level of speed and save the it as a WAV file without the file screwing up...

I remember with Traktor or Atomix, i raise the original BPM by say 10 and the beats go weird..

So is this a good program.

Yea I've been using it for years now

I always listen to my tunes with + 3,4 or 5 pitch and they always sound fine. In BPM Home you can set a desired BPM speed and then record them. The new version can save recordings as WAV or MP3. Its your choice

I dont get it....

So i can get say Jurgen Vries - The Theme, raise the BPM by 10 or 20 and save it onto WAV...then when i play it on Winamp then it will play at the fast speed i set it...

Is it like this...

And can Version 4.6 Pro do this.

Erm..

Yes pro 4.6 is fine. It works like this:

You have 2 programmes in BPM (BPM Player and BPM Home). BPM player is a small counter like player which plays your mp3's. This has a pitch built in on the right side so you can listen to your tunes at watever speed. Above the pitch is A, B and C which is used to set the amount of pitch you want at maxiumum:

A - Maximum pitch of +8 or -8
B - Maximum pitch of +16 or -16
C - Maximum pitch of +24 or -24

+ = speed increase
- = speed decrease

Now.. in BPM HOME you have 2 players in the programme along with loads of other stuff like crossfader etc. You can also record using BPM Home while having you track at whatever speed you like. After you have recorded you can save as WAV or MP3 and the track will sound the same through winamp or whatever.

I recommend you just use the BPM Player when listening to your mp3's.. This way you can listen to the tracks at whatever speed without having to record
