Erm..
Yes pro 4.6 is fine. It works like this:
You have 2 programmes in BPM (BPM Player and BPM Home). BPM player is a small counter like player which plays your mp3's. This has a pitch built in on the right side so you can listen to your tunes at watever speed. Above the pitch is A, B and C which is used to set the amount of pitch you want at maxiumum:
A - Maximum pitch of +8 or -8
B - Maximum pitch of +16 or -16
C - Maximum pitch of +24 or -24
+ = speed increase
- = speed decrease
Now.. in BPM HOME you have 2 players in the programme along with loads of other stuff like crossfader etc. You can also record using BPM Home while having you track at whatever speed you like. After you have recorded you can save as WAV or MP3 and the track will sound the same through winamp or whatever.
I recommend you just use the BPM Player when listening to your mp3's.. This way you can listen to the tracks at whatever speed without having to record
