Big Ears A Dolman - "Tranquility" [Club Mix]

Here is my new track guys. Still have a few bits and pieces to work on at the moment, but I would love some feedback.

Let me know what you think.

I really hope you enjoy hearing it as much as I did making it

Hi,
That sidechained mid bass saw is really in you face loud, kinda makes everything become lost. I'm feeling a Matt Zo type of feel to this track. Nice break, and the piano sounds great. And the kick isnt really piercing through the mid bass saw, try cutting a notch on most present sounds where your kick is peaking. I'd get a new kick sample tbh.

Great song thou, really nice and anjuna-ish

I agree totally... love the idea of the tune doh... keep working on it...

I think a nice automation (preferably a reverb) on the synth at the start of the song from 0:00 - 0:25 would sound nice.. slowly bring the sound alive...

Hey man, thanks for your feedback!

The anjuna style trance is my favourite, so I think that has influenced my style of production, thanks for the kind words there bro.

Yeah I agree, after feedback from some other producers, the consensus appears to be that the saw is slightly too loud. I did want a fat saw on the drop though, so I may just reduce the volume slightly and tweak the levels in the high frequency region to improve the mix.

With the kick I have one other sample I was going to use which is a lot more hard hitting. When I upload all my additions, I may pop two tracks up with different kicks and you could let me know what you think?

Thanks

Thanks for your feedback mate, really appreciate it

Yeah, I see what you mean. I think if I was to make a "full" version of the track (e.g. 6mins or so) I would definately consider putting that kind of effect in.

Have made some changes based on the response ive had from people in general. Here is a revised version guys.
