I'm sorry but that was fucking boring. He made a few good point, but way too much repetition and it hardly moves forward at all. And listening to him loop 1 and 1 bar of a track was fucking atrocious.

if you need to go to school to make technos, i mean come on. Even rock music. I mean i think the cutoff in terms of music you ould study in a formal manner is jazz. Sure The performance program at Beerklee deal in modern music but again , this school is hit and miss and the miss is mostly anything other than the performance program.

I mean when i went to school, you would have visiting lecturers like Bob Ludwig, Hancock i mean guys that you can learn by just being in the same room. I even had a class where the guest professor was Sandy Pearlman, the guy who produced that song in that skit everyone knows "more cowbell". I feel for the people that pay for these schools. They are a racket.

I've been watching Groove3's Timothy Allen - Ableton Tutorials He's awesome. He goes super indepth with all the things necessary in order to make a great track. So far this week I've spent countless hours watching his videos. They're very informative and his eqing and sidechaining tips have helped tremendously. I highly recommend any Groove3 or Synthic4te.

People watch to much of these damn videos. What happened to analyzing some inspirational material and just jamming away?
