I hear you but they took too long to approve so I got back on TA.

Also, TA has a broader interest (local scenes, Djing, weird shit), so even though the threads were very specialized, TA is more useful all round.

Probably a better system would be to delete users, rather than require they fill out an application (as if joining an internet forum was that fucking prestigious).

I looked in the production section and the topics there aren't any different than the ones you see around other production forums.

One of the topics in the production forum there is titled "Equalizing for Dummies" and they say they are a high-end production forum.

I remember how fun that site was for the first day i used it, then i just never bothered to go back to it, you can find better stuff on other forums in any case.

I'm a member of APN. My take on it is that it was apparently THE forum for serious EDM talk without all the noise at one point (long before I joined) - in other words, it was the anti-trance.nu. But, it seems to me that it now suffers from the regulars not posting there anymore (they probably got real jobs by now) combined with poor management of the site. But, I have to admit that I'm as much to blame as anybody else since I rarely visit it anymore and I can't remember the last time I posted anything there (aside from a few minutes ago).

I don't think it's worth complaining about - if it dies, it dies, and if it somehow rises from the ashes again, that'd be fine as well. In the meantime, this is still a much better forum IMO. My 2 cents.
