anyways, as a new yorker (born & raised) growing up during the time when he was just blowing up and making it to the acme point of the game was epic & legendary. I still remember it all like it was yday, srsly. I was trying to figure out how long its been since he passed away and at first said, damn its been 5 yrs..lol my friend looks at me with the most bewildered look and I realized...ooops, okay not 5..than i pondered for a bit longer (5 seconds lol) and with confidence said aloud, ahh 9 yrs! She kinda agreed with since and than later on in the night out of nowhere it hit me like...uh, wait a minute...its been fucking 15 yrs and he STILL remains the BIGGEST influence on many artists today; whom are sampling his work. That just gives to show what type of power his music/talent had!

Always wonder how things would have been if he were still alive but, for the better, it was prob best that it ended the way it did- sadly.
