Agreed, although family at least gets closure now.
The dads in jail for the next 6 years. Closure at this point is nothing that whole families lives are ruined

I disagree, I think the constant pain and anguish of not knowing what happened to your loved one would have haunted them till the day they died. At least now having a understanding of what happened, and being able to bury your daughter is huge for them it terms of being able to move on.
Didn't the dad accuse a neighbor of having something to do with her disappearance, and ended up stabbing him? At least now he knows the truth rather than harboring some sort of anger or resentment towards that guy, maybe that would have drove him to even further with violence once he got out? Hopefully now he'll be able to start the healing process...
dude closure is long long time away...just learning NOW that shes dead rather than the possibility of her being still missing, the grieving is just beginning. Sure its one step, but moving on takes a long time. This isnt instant relief to a troubled family.

Plus no one knows how she actually died or how she ended up there

coupled with the guilt of attacking an innocent person
And no longer having an person to blame for her disappearance. I am sure coming to terms with her death as a suicide is harder than dealing with a murder. At least before he could direct it outwards...now he must be thinking 'could I have stopped her if I only did..."
although that is my opinion...I have never had anyone close commit suicide (thankfully)

i have a feeling she was thrown out of the car or something, i cant understand how she would be walking on a highway overpass without anyone seeing her and then jumping off it, how would she even get there from school? seems unlikely imo.
