I could never get into the show Lost.
I have never oriented myself so heavily towards nostalgia as many of my peers seem to do.

Disliking things because they're popular is exactly the same as liking them for that reason. It's allowing others' feelings about them to affect your view. Just like what you like.

I am of the same ilk, but that's because I know that by the time popular things make it to me, they're tired and old anyway. I like to stay ahead of the curve by just disliking everything by default!
