ATTN Promotors: Could Toronto PLEASE get a deep house boat cruise this summer!!!
I rarely go to clubs these days as I've grown out of the scene, and many house events just have that same generic tech house sound. I would love to get back out to a proper house music event, especially being on a boat.
Some suggestions for djs:
Miguel Migs
Fred Everything
Richard Earnshaw
Chuck Love
Rasmus Faber
and definitely others that could be added to this list. Please make this happen, would definitely be an unforgettable event!

Booking an international artist on a boat cruise is costly because you have to pay for the boat and the artist costs. You could be down $10k before you even hire any promoters or local talent.
My hope this year for boat cruises is for entry/mid level promoters to get smart and TEAM together to throw one good party. Instead of two companies promoting two half empty parties, if they teamed together they could reduce risk by splitting the cost on the boat.
Toronto club goers are tired of paying $40 for a boat cruise and having 150 to 200 people on it. If promoters worked together that 150 could be 350 and the difference between being in the black or in the red.

So true. The firepower of promoters joining forces would be immense. A boat cruise of this caliber would be one for the ages.

If only boat cruises were still $40. I feel like the minimum is $50, and on long weekends it goes up to $70++.

Very true. Unfortunately promoter/dj politics gets in the way. Everyone wants the "best boat/best lineup/whatever else" and hype it too much and utterly fail. A boat like the gambler... have one promoter on top floor and one on bottom would make it a fun boat. The boat would be packed front to back. However... who gets the top and who gets the bottom? Thus, different boats getting booked the same day if that makes sense
