it sounds to me like any other use of Duduk; very.. "ethnic" i love the sounds, and I love the arrangement, but I can't help thinking it sounds like the demos you get with "sounds of the middle east" type sample Cds..
this isn't a bad thing - deadmau5 Veldt sounds like a demo of some "out of africa" sample Cd - doesn't make it a bad tune in the slightest (the vocal does that!)
the key is what you do next to it, how you change it up and keep elements of the somewhat generic "ethnic" sounds as themes - that's what makes them non-generic (as in the case of blueman and the joel)
btw - this isn't negative criticism - it may read that way, but it's not intended as such, I just don't have the time right now to re word it so it doesn't cause offence! I think it has great potential
