I have my doubts on the accuracy of this. I would think Schulz would have a higher value based on running a pretty successful label and then selling to Armada plus annual mix albums and artist albums for the last 10 years.
And then you would think someone like Sven Vath would be up there too, you know, running Coocoon some of the most successful parties and label in the industry. Unless they blew it all on hookers and cocaine?
And Gareth Emery that high up? Does he run a second business? |
I was also surprised to see Markus so low on the list

The real $$ is in pop and hip hop. If I made a living as an EDM artist I would totally produce rap and pop songs in secret for a fat paycheck.
I wouldn't consider the guys with 2, 3, 4 million "rich". Most lawyers in major cities can make that in a few years or less. The lifestyle though, that's something that makes it seem pretty cool. Big dinner on per diem, nice hotels, travel, groupies, a manager wiping your ass for you if you need, adoring fans. I'd settle for 2 million plus the perks. |
and once I again I strongly agree with this.
