I'm going mad. Techno meets trance.

Any comments especially on mix. Just a limiter on the master.

I worked up some of my gay singing specially

Some cool parts, a little too droney for my taste though.

Love the collection of stabbing percs working together rhythmically. the breakdown was very intriguing and led into a very powerful release. love it.

I find the kick to be too strong i'd make it a bit more subtle. The breakdown should be a bit darker, the 1st section is obscure and then you come with a fairy tale breakdown, developes nicely but i'd make it a bit more coherent with the rest of the track. Good job so far.

I think you're on to something with this genre-blending

I like the melody that comes in during the breakdown but it lost me at 2:42 when it changes, like techno is simple enough you coulda just maintained that throughout and even into the drop and I think it would've been more effective

I'm not really into techno but I must say that I enjoyed this track. I was expecting more vocal parts though Good job!

Great track, break lead a bit dark maybe
mix balance can do better, bit of tightening up can give it a lot more power.

Thanks for all the feed, am making changes as a result.

Raph, anything specific need tightening - I'm very carefull with each sound making it as short and tight as possible. Always good to get an outsiders input as one looses perspective when working so closely on something.

when the first vocal im going mad comes in you need to have some sort of crescencdo kinda thing going into it. suddenly a human voice in the middle of a very industrial sounding beat. kinda doesnt work...

did not love the riff in the breakdown.

all the techno parts are cool, the trance not so much...

Yeah good call on that sudden vocal, I need to tidy this whole thing up.

I'm thinking of making the break more about dark vocals and perhaps dispensing with the pretty plinky plonk break synths.

Was also going to add some big hits, perhaps vocal hits and stutters here n there in the intro and drop.

This track is way better than your previous tracks. This is definitely more like the type of track you should be making.

I think the kick is a bit too strong. At the same time, it kind of works for this track.

Percussion sounds solid to me. Much better sounding percussion than the vast majority of techno tracks I've heard, even the recent ones.

If you actually want other people to play this track, I'd suggest just cutting out the arp in the breakdown and the chord stabs. Keep it a techno track and you could sell it to a techno label easily in my opinion. It would also just make more sense as a track. Keep the breakdown as short as possible btw. I've noticed that techno DJs aren't the biggest fans of breakdowns, especially ones longer than 30 seconds.

Track sounds really good coming out of the breakdown. Ya, definitely best thing I've heard you produce.

EDIT: overall, great vibe. this is the type of stuff you should be making. however, take out the trance elements in the breakdown. you don't need them
