i've been trying it for some time now, but I really can't come up with a trance melody.. I know i suck and that this question is stupid, but how can i make and compose a melody????? i keep thinking and thinking but i'm out of ideas. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF U GUYS COULD HELP ME< OR TELL ME HOW YOU GUYS HANDLE THESE KIND OF SITUATIONS... BYE NOW...

Well since this is a useless forum and nobody actually responds to questions anymore, I thought I'd give you a hand.
Generally I do 2 things when trying to come up with a melody
1) Play random notes till I come up with something interesting and then work with that.
2) Hear something interesting on tv, radio, other song, etc etc then try to use that as a base.
But realistically, case #1 happens more often than #2, so just play around till you come up with something interesting

yeh, unless your grade 8 music theory or something play around on a piano/keyboard is all you can do, just takes patience.....lots

I find that sitting in front of a basic piano and just playing chord progressions that are tried and true over and over again and listen for a melody to flow out of my head. That's how I do it.

If you don't got one already I recommend to get a midikeyboard.. it's so much better to make melodies on a keyboard, even though you can't play. You'll learn.. it's soooo much better. Trust me
