You know, I haven't done yoga in months because I keep putting it off. Next week, next week, etc. I saw this posted this morning and decided to put it on. I had forgotten about all the benefits yoga has, and with such awesome music, it becomes even better.
The first half of this mix was absolutely perfect. Lush, chill downtempo music was exactly what I needed to get moving today. It kinda migrated into a housey vibe in the back quarter of the first half and stuck there until you really ramped it up at the end.
You might have made not only my day, but my week with this mix. You started me off proper. Real nice job, yet again. Thank you so much for all these mixes. I sometimes wonder if my sets have such a profound impact on people, like yours do on me.

Wowser Nick. Brilliant response!
I love hearing how different people respond to music, in particular what they actually do while listening, be that a commute, relaxing with a book, having it on while getting ready for a night out...whatever it is hearing the context makes it so much more personal. Listening whilst doing yoga must be the best context yet though! The music I dig out for these mixes was always chosen as being complimentary to a contemplative state, of which yoga most certainly is.
Means a lot huge deal you saying that these collections of music have a profound effect on you. Still find it awesome imagining that other people across the globe share a passion for beautiful electronic music and look forward to each posting. Like I said, it means a huge amount to me.
Thanks again, glad it sounded good to your ears. Tread Steady.

Probably about 90% of the time I listen to a mix while I'm working. The other time I'll listen to mixes on a long road trip, flight, or during a nice brisk run.
But for your Windmill Sessions mixes, I choose to exercise very slowly. Yoga is an interesting form of exercise. Incredibly challenging and taxing on the body but highly useful for muscle strength, flexibility and durability. It also helps with your inner peace and all that nonsense. Before the mix I was laying around feeling worthless and didn't want to do anything all day. I saw this posted, so I lit a candle and put it on. My routine is only about 45 minutes to an hour, so after about halfway through your mix I was sweating like Patrick Ewing in the 4th quarter, and decided to enjoy the rest of it laying in my bed. After it was over, I was ready to start my day and I did all my various chores and enjoyed the rest of the weekend. I felt incredible.

A lot of times (I'm guilty of this too), people will leave a review that is short and sweet. "It was (good|bad), Track X was awesome, Track Y felt out of place, and Track Z reminded me of Memory M." The truly excellent mixes will stand out and affect your own personal tastes, potentially even how you listen to music. I know from being active in the DJ promo forums here on TA that my tastes have broadened and sharpened to a point that I've been wanting for a long time. I think as long as we keep doing what makes us happy, we will continue to push our boundaries in music and progressively get better and better.
I can't wait to hear your next offering.
