It's as good as ever. Sure, it's no Det.Riot (imo his best album as well), but it he sticks to his guns and it sounds great. I don't see why you would think this isn't the real KDJ style.

If you compare the 17 minute version of Black Mahogani to what he's releasing on the last few KDJ releases, its no contest in my opinion.
