Moodymann is starting to falter IMO
This pains me to say but this man who I respect more than anyone else in the house scene appears to be slowing up with his productions.
Det.riot '67 was quality all around:
Anotha Black Sunday was strong as well:
Then Ol' Dirty Vinyl came out and I started to question whether or not his passion for production had started to fade.
His most recent EP called "I Guess You Never Been Lonely" was for some unknown reason, released on KDJ, but from inside Japan, and retails for a whopping 35 dollars. I bought it blind because I didnt have time to check the samples and it kept selling out really quickly at the online shops I visit. Its a disappointing record.
What do the KDJ fans out there think? I really really love what this man represents, and all of his beautiful music. I hope he has some more hits in the archive that he can dig out for us because lately I'm just not feelin' it.
