OK. So I've dug up lots of spoken word stuff from NASA. Where else might I look? I hear a lot of trance songs with various tracks of spoken words but sometimes I can't even tell if it was from a movie, from PBS, a speech at a convention or what.

i know a guy who can do completely unique spoken word samples. his name is OP.
I'm down with OPP.
Seriously I'm like John Lennon. I don't like my voice. Maybe that's why I gravitate to doing trance music. No need for vocals. But I hear you. Some effects can work wonders on even my voice.

Ugh...that is so cliche please don't even bother. You can sample from anything...
If you hear something cool, figure out a way to capture it.

Possibilities are endless...dont limit yourself. discovery channel...Planet Earth series...Field record some people, ask your friends to read something that strikes your fancy and record it and decimate it into something different with effects.
