problem with fruityloops

when i am recording my tune... and the song is playing... in some parts of the tune... it will carry over to other parts of the tune (i dont know if that is called lag or not)when it shouldnt be playing. How can i fix this problem?? Is it because of my driver??? Please help... thanks

it could just be the nature of the sound that you're using. do you mean like a synth or something doesn't stop it just keeps going? go into the properties of the sound and mess with the envelope.

Especially the ts404, the release on it is shit if i remember correctly...

its release that makes the synth sound stay on after the note on the piano roll stops (visualize your finger playing a note on a keyboard, then letting go: release is the time/slope of the volume curve)
