Synth(s) Help

The lead synth and bass synth at 1:44

Anyone know what to call the lead synth? I can create a weak and cheesy version of it. This lead synth is very common now but I can't find any tutorials that show how to make a really perfect, professional version of it. I am using sylenth.

Synths are my biggest weakness so any help would be appreciated.

saw wave with noise. Don't use a sub oscillator or another saw an octave apart. Since they are playing chords, keep the unison down with say 2 voices. You wouldn't really need unison if you are using other effects like chorus.

I would say this was made with Sylenth. But really, it can be made with pretty much anything.

I'm pretty sure Alanzo has this in one of his soundsets. I mean i'm guessing. Maybe not. It is rather simple to make but i saw his name and he is online and makes soundbanks. Might as contribute as i have answered i believe 5+ questions from you. But make it a really small donation so he gets angry,

I appreciate the help.

I have never used an oscillator for noise before on a lead. I would always try to add distortion as an effect on the lead which didn't usually achieve the effect I was looking for.

Also, I think in the factory bank there is a setting called 'follow' that is close to what I am looking for. If I add some noise I think it will work for what I want to make.

its fairly common. It is just not really loud. But this is rather raw. A saw wave, pink noise and some eq is all you need.

Thanks again. This is basically solved for anyone who reads it, though any other tips are welcome.
