I know DJ Dave B's remix of L'esperanza has a bassline that sounds pretty much like the Veracocha one, ask him

I´m pretty sure that bass is made with a TB303...But I don´t know how to make it sound like the one in CarteBlanche.
But u can try with Rebirth or RubberDuck.

303? You gotta be kidding.. for me it doesn't sound like a 303..

*fiddling like a mad man with Rebirth*

What do you think Dave B? Is it a 303? How did you make it, plz reveal

Think that´s exactly what Ferry did too , not with Rebirth tho...
If u listen to the bassline u hear the sound changing all the time.
Think u have to use the filters pretty heavily to get that sound.

here we are, it's similar style to the carte blanche bassline

http://www.encyde.org/lc/go.php?user=dave&id=00015

sorta like gouryella - gouryella and fields of joy

but you can modify it, do you use fruity? if so i could send you the sample and ts-404 patch

Wow, fucking awesome!! I wish I had made this bassline. Could you make a midi file with the notes?

No, sorry, I don't use Fruityloops

Thanks for the help!

here is the notes for the gooey bass sound

http://members.optushome.com.au/dbu...ine/goobass.JPG

and here is the parameters used, (notice how i used the LFO, that is what gives it that goo type sound)

http://members.optushome.com.au/dbu...obassparams.JPG

it's not easy to get it right, if i move the filter cut slightly to the right the bassline sounds completly different and in doing so doesn't sound how it should at all!

good luck

woaaa sorry but i couldnt disagree with you more. I think the bass is extremely weak by todays standards. Thats the only flaw in carte blanche is the weak bass. I mean i was talking to the guys that went to see signum play at GKGG, and they say there is a distinct lack of bass compared to the more newer tunes nowadays.

oh well nevertheless, i hope someone makes u a midi of u find one
